From the Studio

I have an understanding of horses learned through being around them since I was young and therefore am able to convey how they feel, move and look.

I love being outside, painting and drawing plein air, working quickly, capturing a moment, the light. Paintings are either completed in situ or back in the studio with photographic references.

Katie's work is made first and foremost as original paintings. A small number are also available as limited edition giclée prints.
